Newberry: Harold, a resident of Thamesville, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the age of 85. Born in Chatham, son of the late William and Elizabeth (Lennox) Newberry. Beloved husband of Adeline (Sharp) Newberry. Loving father of Ron and Sharron Newberry of R.R. 2 Thamesville and the late Linda Newberry (2007). Loving grandfather of Byron, Tamera, and Tonia Newberry. Dear brother of Shirley and Keith Richards of Barrie. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Margaret Britton, Beatrice Tower, and a brother Howard Newberry. The Newberry family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 1:30pm with Pastor Lynn Brown of the Thamesville United Church officiating. Interment Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society.
