Obituary of Ruth Florence Jenkins

Ruth Florence Jenkins (nee Skinner). Florence was born 21 May, 1934, Cass City, Michigan and died of complications of Alzheimer's disease 27 January, 2018 at Garden City Manor Long-Term Care Residence, St. Catharines, Ontario. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Hugh, her children Michael (Nancy Hulley), Paul (Cecilia Morgan), and Ann (Ron Harten), and her sisters Marianne Gallagher and Nancy Wood (Ron). Predeceased by son John, her brother Jack Skinner, and her parents Donald A. and Ruth Skinner (nee Harris). A registered nurse, Florence loved travelling, music, and poetry. In lieu of flowers, her family would greatly appreciate donations in Florence's name to the Alzheimer's Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The Jenkins family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North Street, Dresden on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until the Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Blackburn Cemetery.
