To the Beamish Family:
I am the mother of Tammy McLachlin. Ross and Betty were the next thing to parents for Tammy during her young years in Bothwell. We lived on Catherine St. just one block from the Beamish House. Tammy would wander down the street and arrive to the house, even early morning, and was welcomed by the Beamish family. She enjoyed many hours of fun and friendship with Sandra. Ross and Betty always had a giving spirit and offered support to me during some difficult times. Their generous spirit and warm smiles will always be remembered by Tammy, Jason and Crystal McLachlin. Ross and Betty left a legacy of love and kindness.
