Elliott: John "Jack" a resident of R.R.#3 Florence, passed away peacefully at Beattie Haven, Wardsville on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the age of 88. Born in Euphemia Twp., son of the late Roy and Cleda (Spencer) Elliott. Beloved husband of Betty (Williams) Elliott. Loving father of Janice LeBoeuf (Paul) of R.R.#2 Florence and Barry Elliott (Jill) of Burns Lake B.C. Proud Grandpa of Gemma and Finn. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Mac Elliott (Luella), Marjorie Pike, Doreen Pitel, and Leta Elliott. Also survived by his nieces and nephews Eveline, Wendy, Rick, Ron, Ross, Liana, Susie, Doreen, Mary, Kevin, and Elaine. Predeceased by brother George Elliott and brothers-in-law Harry Pike and Louis Pitel. The Elliott family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 11 AM. Cremation will take place with Interment in Shetland Cemetery at a later date. If desired donations to Four Counties Health Services Foundation, Beattie Haven or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated.
