Perritt: Clarence, a long time resident of Chatham, and formerly of Bothwell and Ridgetown, passed away peacefully at Meadow Park Nursing Home, Chatham on Thursday, January 5, 2017 in his 100th year. Born in Ridgetown, son of the late George and Harriet (Stocking) Perritt. Beloved husband of the late Alice Perritt (2015) and the late Margaret Perritt (1981). Loving father of George Perritt (Linda), Larry Snelgrove (Valerie), Adele Richmond (Scott), Delbert Snelgrove (Barb) and Linda Snelgrove. Sadly missed by grandchildren Jessica VanKesteren (Stephen), Carrie Robinson (Michael), Jeremy Snelgrove (Shelly), Tricia Thompson (Bryan), Mason Vye (Mary Jane), Evelyn Vye, Eric Snelgrove, Bethany Osborne (Charlie), and Brennan Richmond and great-grandchildren Gwyneth, Meredith, Ronan and Alex. Dear brother of Leona Baillie. Predeceased by sisters Dora, Thelma, Jean, Muriel, and brothers Laverne and Arthur. The Perritt family will receive family and friends at the Community of Christ Church, 174 Faubert Dr., Chatham on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 12:30 PM until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 PM, with Elder John Scherer officiating. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Donations (by cheque) to the Alzheimer's Society or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family.
