Brown: Jean (Fraser) formerly of Dresden and Dawn Twp. , passed away peacefully at the Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia, on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at the age of 88. Born in Walkerville, daughter of the late William and Sadie (Young) Fraser. Beloved wife of the late Robert Gordon Brown (2001). Loving mother of Karen and Leo Burns of R.R. 2 Oil Springs, Diane and Robert Melton of R.R.4 Petrolia. Loving grandmother of Scott and Susan Burns, Greg and Tracy Burns, Krista Burns and fiance Tony Marzotto, Dana and Bruce Lowe, Dean and Tina Groves Melton. Loving great grandmother of Blake, Bradley, Taylor, Brady, Grace, Hannah, Alaina, and Liam. Predeceased by a brother Gordon Fraser. The Brown family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Friday March 5, 2010 from 11:00am until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon with Bonnie Harvey officiating. Interment Shetland Cemetery. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to Muscular Dystrophy Canada or the charity of one’s choice.
