Patterson: G. Jean (Pierce) formerly of Glencoe passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Riverview Gardens, Chatham at the age of 105. She was born in Caradoc Township, daughter of the late Thomas & Mary Jane (McPhail) Pierce. Beloved wife of the late Finley Patterson. Loving mother of Elaine Bebensee of Calgary and Doris Patterson of Newbury. Sadly missed by daughter-in-law Evelyn Patterson. Proud grandma of Jane Berdan (Dave), Ann Stalker (Bill), Scott Patterson (Lenore), Mary Ellen Funnell (Bob), Janet Gell (Steven) and Caroline Nevokshonoff (Barry). Fondly remembered by 16 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She is predeceased by son Ross Patterson (2005); son-in-law Lloyd Bebensee (1996); grandson Ian Bebensee (1983); granddaughter Hilary Patterson (1994); sisters Winnifred, Annie, Rheta and Ethel and brothers Blake, Mac, Milton and Grant. The Patterson family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home 211 Elm Street, Bothwell on Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Interment in Purcell Cemetery. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Bothwell District Optimist Club, St. John Presbyterian Church or charity of your choice.
