Obituary of Jerry Bondy

Bondy: Jerry Paul, a resident of Morpeth passed away at the age of 69 on August 26, 2012 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, after a courageous battle with cancer. Jerry was the youngest son of Freeman and Margaret Bondy. He is predeceased by his loving wife Roxy (nee Deneau) in 2007 after 41 years of marriage. His humour and generosity will be missed by his children, Jane Bondy-Herron and her husband, Dean, and Philip Bondy and his wife, Ami. Jerry was a fun-loving Papa to Emma, Ben, Cameron, and Grace. Jerry was blessed with many siblings: Freeman Jr. (1932); Donald (2003) and wife, Jean (2007); Delores Taylor and partner, Moe (1998); Doreen Hooker (2009) and husband, Wes (1999); Aloysius; Earl (2010) and wife, Margaret; Maurice (2009) and wife, Margaret; Joanne Bennett and husband, Willie (2007); and Allen (2008) and wife, Heather (2009). Jerry also leaves behind several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law in the Deneau family and many nieces and nephews. Jerry’s children would like to thank the many friends, family members and medical personnel, who supported them throughout the past several months. Their kindness will be remembered. A funeral mass will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Ridgetown on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at a later date. If desired, donations may be made by cheque to Windsor Western Cancer Clinic. Online donations and condolences may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the John C. Badder Funeral Home, Thamesville.
