Parkins: John Clyde, a resident of R.R. 4 Alvinston, passed away peacefully at the London Health Sciences Centre, on Friday, October 21, 2011 at the age of 73. Born in Croton, son of the late Frank and Lois (Wainwright) Parkins. Beloved husband of Marjory (Burrell) Parkins. Loving father of David and Christine Parkins, Tom Parkins (Wendy Howes), Terry and Ken Thompson. Sadly missed by 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Frank and Marjorie Parkins. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The Parkins family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Thursday, October 27, 2011, from 12:00pm until the time of the memorial service at 1:30pm with Rev. Annalee Kerr officiating. Interment in Mayhew-Mt.Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Four Counties Health Services Foundation or the Wabash United Church.
