Cremation has taken place A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held at a later date Arrangements entrusted to Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, Dresden   MacDonald, Larry, passed away peacefully Friday, April 12, 2013 with his family at his side. Larry was born in Chatham, October 1, 1938. He resided in Dresden for the last seven years. Always loved by his wife Edith “Edie” (Parker) of 54 years. His loving children Lisa High (Brent), Tracy deBakker (Frank) and Scott MacDonald (Jody Pray). Sadly missed by his caring grandchildren Mitchell High, Davis High, Jessica deBakker, Amber deBakker, Zach deBakker, Jenney MacDonald, Parker MacDonald. Also survived by brother Donald MacDonald (Maria), Bob MacDonald; sister Anne MacDonald; sister-in-law Barb MacDonald; mother-in-law Helen Parker; brother-in-law Wayne Parker (Carol); brother-in-law and best friend of Ken Parker (Susanne). Dearly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, especially Kirk and Chad Parker. He will be missed by his sidekick “Maggie”, his german shepherd. Predeceased by his parents Ed and Leona (Myers) MacDonald; brother Brian MacDonald; father-in-law Harold (Boots) Parker and sister-in-law Pat MacDonald. The MacDonald Family would like to thank the Dresden Fire Department; Paramedics; the great staff at CKHA – Sydenham Campus; the home care nurses and providers, especially Clare; Dr. David Sullivan, who is always there for us; super neighbours and friends and Badder Funeral Home (Jason, Dave and Jackie). Thank you all! Cremation has taken place, a Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the OSPCA. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, Dresden.
