McGuire: Laura E. (Butler), passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at the age of 87. Born in Dawn Twp., daughter of the late Clancy and Mary (McIntyre) Butler. Beloved wife of the late William McGuire (2011). Loving mother of Robert “Bob” McGuire (Nancy) of Bothwell, Ross McGuire (Janice) of Croton, Peter McGuire (Cheryl) of Oil Springs, Doug McGuire of Croton, and Tim McGuire of Oil Springs. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Ian, Jordan, Michael, Melissa, Nicole Font (Shawn), Lindsey Peters (Josh), and great-grandchildren Jack and Grace Font. Dear sister of Betty Annett (Wally), Geraldine White (Norman), Mary Catherine Winder (Jim), and Jim Butler (Bev). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 infant daughters and daughter-in-law Myrna McGuire. The McGuire Family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 1:00pm. Interment Oil Springs Cemetery. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to Lambton County Developmental Services or the Oakdale United Church.
