Verstraete: Lena Ann (VanDaele), a resident of Ridgetown, passed away peacefully at The Village on the Ridge, Ridgetown on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the age of 72. Born in Belgium, daughter of the late Jules and Maria (DeWaele) VanDaele. Beloved wife of the late Andre Verstraete (2007). Loving mother of Peter and Carol Verstraete, Rose Haines, and Brenda Burke (John VanEvery). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Brandon, Dustin, Jordan, Maurice, and Kelly. Dear sister-in-law of Margaret VanDaele of Windsor, Rose and Joe Vereecken of R.R.#3 Bothwell, Zulma and Roger Deprez of R.R.#6 Dresden, Janette and Bill Korpan of R.R.#7 Chatham, Marie and Antoine Vereecken of R.R.#3 Bothwell, Dianne and Gilbert Feys of R.R.# 5 Bothwell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Daniel and Gabriel VanDaele. The Verstraete family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Monday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Prayers will be held on Monday afternoon at 1:45pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 11am. Interment St. Ignatius Cemetery, Bothwell.
