Obituary of Lorraine Watterworth

View the video Watterworth: Lorraine (Demarest), a resident of Bothwell, passed away peacefully with family by her side at the London Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the age of 76. Born in Tillsonburg, daughter of the late Harry and Germaine (Deroo) Demarest. Lorraine owned and operated a hair salon in Bothwell for many years, and was a former member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Bothwell. Special friend and companion of Vaughn “Buzz” Webster. Loving mother of Brent Watterworth (Deb) of Dealtown, Joanne Demarest of Bothwell, Brenda Gould (Bob) of Chatham. Loving grandma of Adam Gould (Cassie Dawson), Kayla Gould (Muthoni Grant), Joshua Demarest, and Brady Watterworth (Jillian Breault). Dear sister of Leonard Demarest, Richard Demarest (Barbara), John Demarest (Marlene), Janet Rushinko all of Delhi, and Denise Ivanic of Windsor. Sadly missed by Henry Kelly and family. A special thank you to the Webster’s  for welcoming mom into their family. Predeceased by a sister Judy Yarmie, a brother Maurice Demarest, a sister-in-law Diane Demarest, and  brothers-in-law Alphonse Ivanic and Ernie Yarmie. The Watterworth family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St. Bothwell on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Thamesville on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 11am with Fr. Ray Lawhead as Celebrant. Interment St. Ignatius Cemetery,Bothwell. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Cancer Society, Four Counties Health Services Foundation, or the charity of one’s choice.
