McCabe, Luth Nathanial a resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Croton passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the Village Retirement Residence, Ridgetown at the age of 90. He was born in Euphemia Twp. son of the late Ernest and Lillian (Wright) McCabe. Luth was a past member of Croton United Church, Thamesville United Church, Masonic Lodge and Thamesville Rotary Club. Beloved husband of 65 years of the late Mabel (McGugan) McCabe (2009). Loving father of Alan and Cherie McCabe of Thunder Bay and Sharon and Art Wismer of Thamesville. Special grandfather of Amanda, Kelly and Jamie, Greg and Kristy, Rob and Yeh, Alicia. Cherished great grandfather of Madeline, Mitchell and Benjamin. Dear brother-in-law of Elsie McCabe of Oshawa. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Stewart (1952), Alta (1971), Donald (1988), Melvin (1989) and Elsie (2008). The McCabe family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria Street, Thamesville on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held from the Thamesville United Church on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Lynn Brown officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville at a later date. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation.
