Tiffin: It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Mabel Tiffin (Jaques), formerly of Dresden, passed away peacefully at Eden Villa, Chatham on Friday, December 7, 2012 at the age of 95. Born in Wabash, daughter of the late Zebedee and Saphrona (Wheeler) Jaques. Beloved wife of the late Melvin Tiffin (1977). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Helen Jackson (Don) of Chatham, Janice Grilly (Peter) of Port Franks, Doug Tiffin (Karen) of Chatham., Junior Ellis of Dresden, Sandra Clark (Don) of Light House Cove. Loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great- grandchildren. Dear sister of Lily “Til” Crowder of Chatham. Sadly missed by sister-in-law Thelma Jaques of Dresden. Predeceased by her daughter Kathleen “Kay” Ellis (2004), her son Larry Tiffin (1993), grandson Dwaine Ellis (1995) ; great-great-grandson Denver Jackson (2007) ; sisters Susie, Beulah, and brothers Freeman, Charlie, Jim, Cecil, Bob, Fred, John, Raymond, and Carmen Jaques. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The Tiffin Family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 11:00am with Elder Jim Perritt officiating. Interment Dresden Cemetery.
