Pickard, Manson, formerly of R.R.# 6 Thamesville, passed away peacefully at Kensington Village, London on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the age of 94. Born in Camden Twp., son of the late Earle and Sylvia (Goudreau) Pickard. Manson was predeceased by his first wife Eileen (Bowden) Pickard (1995) and his sister Jean Goddard (1996). Beloved husband of Germaine (Moreau) Pickard. Loving father of Lynda LaMarsh of Kingston, Brenda Hollis (Larry) of Ottawa. Loving grandfather of Lonnie Tuck, Leanne Burton (Ken), Mandy Hollis (Scott Wormington). Sadly missed by his great-grandchildren Sydney, Jamie, Carlie Tuck, Miranda and Kayla Burton,and Macartney Wormington. Sadly missed by his step-children Don Parsons (Mary Lou), Ron Parsons (Yvonne), Rick Parsons (Liz), Debbie Squire (Jim). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The Pickard family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 1:00pm with Pastor Lynn Brown of the Thamesville United Church officiating. Interment Sherman Cemetery, Thamesville. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Thamesville United Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
