Obituary of Margaret L. Badder

Badder: Margaret L. (Gray), a resident of R.R.# 1 Thamesville, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the C.K.H.A. Public General Campus, Chatham on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at the age of 74. Born in Euphemia Twp., daughter of the late Duncan Gray (1975) and Marion (Moorhouse) Gray (2009). Forever loved by her husband of 53 years, Vernon M. Badder. Loving mother of Leslie and Francine Badder of Wabash, Linda and Ted Ellis of Bright's Grove, Lori Ann and Douglas Tinline of Thamesville, Lois and Randy Blair of Wallaceburg, Lisa and Janne Staf of Katrineholm,Sweden. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Benjamin (Ashley), Becky, Bradley, David, Heather, Jennifer, Cortney, Adam, Ryan, Christopher, Kyle, Lydia, Geena, Alexandra and great grandchildren Abagail and Oliver. Dear sister of Maxine McDonald of Sarnia, the late Alex Gray (Joan) of Shetland and Allan Gray (Diane) of Shetland. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. The Badder Family received friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Saturday evening from 7-9pm and Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service was held in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, November 23, 2009 at 11:00am Pastor Darryl Hannigan and Priest Dave Maynard of the Community of Christ Church, Wabash officiated. Ben Badder gave words of remembrance from the grandchildren. Soloist Carol Manley sang "For Those Tears I Died" accompanied by organist Marilyn Wranich. Interment was in Shetland Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Bradley Badder, David Ellis, Adam Tinline, Ryan Blair, Christopher Blair and Kyle Blair. Flower bearers were: Heather Ellis, Cortney Tinline, Jennifer Ellis, Lydia Staf, Geena Staf and Alexandra Staf. In lieu of flowers donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Community of Christ, Wabash.
