Ross: Margaret (Huckle) a resident of R.R. 7 Thamesville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham at the age of 80. She was born in Camden Township daughter of the late Frank and Olive (McEachran) Huckle. Margaret was a member of Community of Christ, Wabash and the Wabash Womens Institute. She served as a teacher in the church and also taught 32 years as a teacher at Grovemills, Baseline, Thorncliff and Dresden Area Central Schools. Beloved wife of the late Glenn Ross (2001). Loving mother of Betty & John Vansegbrook, Glenda & Donald McGee, Tina & Richard Zimmer and Dale & Michelle Ross. Proud grandma of Gillian and Eric McGee, Carter and Allix Ross, Nicole,Hailey and Karley Zimmer and great grandson Layton Demers. Dear sister of Neil & Joyce Huckle. The Ross family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria Street, Thamesville on Thursday from 2- 4pm and 7-9pm and Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held from the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 11:00am with Elder Wayne Turner officiating. Interment in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. If desired donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation or the Heart Stroke Foundation.
