Broad, Marie (Dreveny) a resident of R.R. #4 Dresden passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham at the age of 78. She was born in Harwich daughter of the late Mike and Frances (Janecek) Dreveny. Beloved wife of the late Goldie Broad (2010). Loving mother of Mike Broad of Windsor, Dave Broad of Dresden, Ron & Wanda Broad of Dresden and Linda & Dan Snow of Pain Court. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Michael Currah & Shannon Grodecki, Shawna Currah & Shaun Deprez, Gina, Chelsea and Taylor Broad. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Jerry & Lorraine Dreveny of Tupperville, Geraldine & Dan Welch of Blenheim and Florence Dreveny of Blenheim. She is predeceased by grandson Kevin Broad (1979) and brother Frank Dreveny (1987). The Broad family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North Street, Dresden on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Mrs. Bonnie Harvey officiating.
