Prayers will be held at 3:30pm Parish Prayers will be held at 8:30pm   DeClerk: Marie (Verstraete), a resident of RR 7 Dresden passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Riverview Gardens, Chatham at the age of 90. She was born in Belgium daughter of the late Jules and Marguerite (Denoo) Verstraete. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” DeClerk (1998). Loving mother of Margaret and Jack Roest of Dresden, Marcel and Margaret (Zeinstra) DeClerk of Thamesville and Marjorie and Ronald Wathy of Dresden. Sadly missed by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Camille Verstraete of Blenheim. Predeceased by two great grandchildren; brother Henry Verstraete and sister Erma Derynck. The DeClerk family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. C.W.L. Prayers will be held at 3:30pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St.Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Dresden on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 11:00am with Fr. John Johnson as Celebrant. Interment Dresden Cemetery. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to St. Michael’s Church, Dresden, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the NICU Unit at Victoria Hospital, London. Online condolences and donations may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com. Parish prayers will be held on Tuesday evening at 8:30pm.
