Tanner: Marjorie formerly of Dresden passed away Friday, November 22, 2013 at Riverview Gardens at the age of 80. Born in Dresden, daughter of the late Margaret (Timbers) and Freeman Roper. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Tanner. Loving mother of Byron (Barney) Tanner (Valerie) of Amherstburg, Freeman Tanner of Edmonton, Rick Tanner (Shari) of Dresden, Jeff Tanner (Joanne) of Edmonton and Ann Tanner (Terry Devine) of Chatham. Proud grandma of Heather, Brian, Kenny, Trisha, Sarah, Jordan, Mariah, Lisa, Dan, Scott, Dillion and Collin. Sadly missed by 12 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Shyla Chase (Earl), Elaine Handsor (Lyle), Doris Lachapelle (Richard) and Carol Roper. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Jean Farnsworth (Bob) and brothers Buddy Roper and Rodger Roper. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Marjorie’s life will be held at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Monday, December 9, 2013 from 1-4 p.m. Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
