Goodman – It is with great sadness that the family of Charles Patrick (Pat) Goodman announce that he has lost his battle with Cancer. After a courageous fight, he has left this earth to meet his Heavenly Father on Friday July 6, 2012. After living and working in Toronto for many years, he had recently moved back to his hometown to retire and be closer to his family. He was in his 62nd year. He is the loving son of Margaret (Bodkin) and the late George (Ted) Goodman of Dresden, ON. He will be missed by his loving sisters, Anne & Henry Vanroboys from Thamesville and Lynn and Ben (Junior) Liberty from Wabash. He was a special uncle to 6 nieces and nephews, Carla and Kevin Fox, Kerry and Dennis Martin, Steve and Gina Vanroboys, Tania and Tim Gingerich, Jennifer and Joe Marsh, and Joe and Erin Liberty. Also survived by 16 great nieces and nephews, Megan, Dane and Trent Fox, Anna and Mallory Martin, Lucas and Audra Vanroboys, Ben and Bella Gingerich, Oscar, Lucy, Libby, Boone and Scout Marsh and Jackson and Hayden Liberty. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. At Pat’s request, there will be private visitation and funeral service. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, Dresden.
