Gray: Rev. Alexander H., a resident of Chatham and formerly of Bothwell and Rodney, passed away peacefully at his home with his wife by his side on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the age of 93. Born in Rodney son of the late Robert and Annie (Bates) Gray. Beloved husband of Helen (Coles) Gray. Loving father of Margaret & William Pope of Bothwell, David & Barbara Gray of Milton and James & Amanda Gray of Chatham. Loving grandpa of Jason (Wendy) Gourley, Brandon (Megan) Gourley, Karen (Michael) Parren, Kristyn (Adam) Thoburn, Kyle Gray, Shelby (Alec) Boekhoven and Jordan Gray. Sadly missed by great grandchildren Alex, Sam, Max, Beck and Marla. Predeceased by infant son Robert (1947) and sisters Alice and Grace.The Gray family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment in Rodney Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Covenant House of Toronto or The Voice of the Martyrs Canada, Streetsville would be appreciated by the family.
