Obituary of Rod Secord

A Celebration of Rod’s life will be held Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. at Florence Community Centre Donations London and Regional Cancer Program (LRCP), Patient Assistance Program Dawn Euphemia Community Centre (Florence Community Centre)   Secord: Rod, a resident of R.R. #2 Thamesville passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the LHSC – Victoria Campus at the age of 58. Kind and loving husband of Sandra (McFadden)Secord. Treasured “Pops” to Tyler Secord (Katie Erickson) and “Big Guy” to Randilyn Secord (Ryan Anderson). Proud grandpa to Jacklyn. Beloved son of Floyd and Dorothy (Elliott) Secord. Dear brother, friend and farming partner of Scott Secord. Sadly missed by father-in-law Don McFadden (the late Elva McFadden). Rod will be fondly remembered by the Secord, Elliott, McFadden, and Robinson families, and many close friends. Rod appreciated the simple things in life. He was committed to the family farm, and enjoyed relaxing with family and friends. A celebration of Rod’s Life will be held at the Florence Community Centre on Thursday June 13, 2013 from 7-9 pm. If desired, donations may be made to the London and Regional Cancer Program (LRCP) Patient Assistance Program, or the Dawn Euphemia Community Centre (Florence Community Centre).
