Barker, Ruth a resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Rodney passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham at the age of 77. Ruth was predeceased by her birth mother Jean (Glassford) Tinney (1934), her father Orval Tinney (1979), step-mother Hester (Wilson) Tinney (2000) and brothers Gordon Tinney (1947) and Ross Tinney (1999). Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Barker (1967). Dear sister of Dorothy & Donald Broom of Rodney, Mabel Cudmore of Ridgetown and John & Mary Ann Tinney of Chatham. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The Barker family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home 72 Victoria Street, Thamesville on Friday, December 24, 2010 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Brenda Macmain of the Rodney United Church officiating. Interment in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville.
