Obituary of Lammy Oost

Oost: Lammy (Lamke) (Gjaltema) a resident of Chatham went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at the Chatham-Kent Hospice at the age of 94. She was born in Doezum,GR, the Netherlands, the daughter of the late Jelte & Hiltje (Dalmolen) Gjaltema. Lammy was the last surviving member of her family. She is predeceased by her 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Beloved wife of the late Henry Oost. Loving mother of Hilda Hoekstra, Ida Campbell (James) and the late George Oost (Lorraine). Sadly missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of  Antje and Jannie Gjaltema. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in the Netherlands. A private graveside service will be held in Dresden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the Chatham Christian School or charity of your choice. Arrangements are entrusted to the John C. Badder Funeral Home, Thamesville.
