Obituary of Stanley Wygiera

Wygiera, Stanley a resident of Chatham passed away peacefully Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus- Wallaceburg at the age of 85 with family by his side. He was born in Euphemia Township son of the late Andrew and Eva (Bosko) Wygiera. He was a member of the Star of the East #422 AF & AM, Bothwell, Scotish Rite, Chatham, Rose Croix, Chatham, Mt. Souvery Consistitory, Hamilton, Mocha Shrine Club, London, Ahcom Shrine Club, Chatham, and the Bothwell Legion Br. #252. He retired from Motor Wheel in 1991. Stan is survived by two sons Robert Wygiera (Diana Kannon) of Chatham, Kevin Wygiera of Bothwell; two daughters Cathy Cross (Ronald) of Bothwell and Laura Wygiera-Mitchell of London; 16 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Very special friend of Lilliebelle Forshee of Chatham. He is predeceased by daughter Brenda; brothers Peter and Edward and sisters Mary and Annie. The Wygiera family will receive friends and family at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home 211 Elm Street, Bothwell on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Masonic Lodge Service will be held on Wednesday evening at 6:45 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Annalee Kerr officiating. Interment in Bothwell Cemetery. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
