Barnes: Thomas, a resident of Bothwell, passed away peacefully at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury, on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at the age of 80. Born in Oil Springs, son of the late Henry and Dorothy (Thompson) Barnes. Beloved husband of Laura (McCorkindale) Barnes. Loving father of Jim Barnes (Kelly) of Corunna, John Barnes (Nanette) of Shetland, Lonnie Barnes (Donna) of Oil Springs, Joseph Barnes (Sandi) of Courtright. Sadly missed by grandchildren Ben, Alicia, Jessica, Katelyn, Megan, Sophie, Scott, Kristin, Jodi, and Sara and great-grandchildren Craig, Caitlyn, and Ellie. Dear brother of Cleva Lumley (Clarence) of Kingsville. Predeceased by a brother Robert Barnes (Isabelle). The Barnes family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 1:30pm with Rev. Jim Beatty. Interment Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia.
