Switzer: Verna Jean (Dunlop) a resident of Comber passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the Leamington District Memorial Hospital at the age of 89. Born in Camden Township daughter of the late Ray and Pearl (Wood) Dunlop. Beloved wife of the late Delbert Switzer (1993). Loving mother of Norma Dyck of Essex, Ruth Esselink (Hiram) of Dawson Creek, B.C., Esther Burden (David) of Sarnia, Gordon Switzer (Phyllis) of Tilbury, Paul Switzer (Nancy) of Thamesville and Mark Switzer (Sherry) of Comber. Sadly missed by 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Flora Shaw. Fondly remembered by son-in-law Don Morgan. Predeceased by daughter Deborah Morgan; sisters Lois Steele, Marie Nethery and Mary Ennett and brother Floyd Dunlop. The Switzer family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Friday from 7-9 p.m. The service will be held from the funeral home on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 1 p.m. Interment in Bothwell Cemetery.
