Alderton: Violet (Constant), formerly of Newbury, passed away at the Babcock Community Care Centre, Wardsville on Friday, May 18, 2012 at the age of 91. Born in Rodney, daughter of the late William and Nellie (Horton) Constant. Beloved wife of the late Charles Alderton. Loving mother of Donna Sipocz, Shirley Yacks both of Windsor, Verna Blair (Ron) of Blenheim, Charles Alderton of Alberta, Bill Alderton of Chatham, Bob Alderton and Gary Alderton both of Newbury. Sadly missed by 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Dorothy Miller, Janet Birch and Sylvia Boyko all of Fergus and Ruth Green of Mt. Brydges. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sons Gerald and Edward; sisters Francis, Eva and Rosetta and a daughter-in-law Esther Alderton. At Violet’s request, her body has been donated to science. Family and friends are invited to the Newbury Legion Hall on Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 1-4pm. If desired donations to the CNIB or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences and donations may be made at www.badderfuneralhome.com.
