Peters: Walter F., formerly of Tupperville, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Fairfield Park Nursing Home, Wallaceburg at the age of 91. Born in Sombra, son of the late Elgie and Violet (Farslow) Peters. Walter was a member of Zion United Church, Tupperville and the I.O.O.F. Lodge, Tupperville. He was a Veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces. He worked at Lindsay Tile & Brick Yard and Watson Ready Mix. Beloved husband of the late Isabel M. (Wright) Peters (2010). Loving father of Ann, Mrs. Clark Park of R.R. #3 Tupperville, Gay, Mrs. Robert Myers of Port Lambton and Gary Peters of R.R. #3 Tupperville. Sadly missed by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Dear brother-in-law of Helen Lane of R.R. #5 Wallaceburg, Wilda and Roy Miller of South Carolina, Marguerite and James Smith of Tillsonburg, Dora and Archie Rankin of Mooretown and Lorne Wright of Sombra Township. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother-in-law Glenn Lane. The Peters family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Cathy Larmond officiating. Interment in Dresden Cemetery. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to Zion United Church.
