Marie Lavina Groenenberg, a resident of Dresden, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Park Street Place at the age of 98. Born in Dawn Townshipthe daughter of  the late Melvin and Lavina (Boyle) Babcock . Beloved wife of the late Adriaan "Aubrey" Groenenberg (2007). Loving mother and mother-in-law of John and Darlene. Cherished grandma of Andrew & Colleen and Brad & Sarina. Proud great grandma of Darcy. Dear sister of June Marsh and sister-in-law of Charles Kerwin. Predeceased by brothers Glen, Lorne, Royden and Garland Babcock and sisters Norma Harrett and Phyllis Kerwin. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. The Groenenberg family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St, Dresden on Monday from 1:00-3:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held from the Dresden Community Church on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Dresden Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice. Special thank you to the staff of Park Street Place, Dresden.
