DeBruyne-Elliott: Leta Louise, a resident of Bothwell, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury. Born 83 years ago, daughter of the late William & Violet (Goff) Stocking. Beloved wife of the late Willie DeBruyne (1992) and the late George Elliott (2000). Loving mother of twin daughters Connie & William Sloan Jr. of R.R.2 Bothwell, Chrisie & Harry Lawson of R.R.2 Thamesville. Grandmother to Shane (Karen) Sloan, Dana (Dave) Prescott, Breanne (Sebastian) Kellner, Megan (Tim) Kramer, Brandon (Diane) Lawson, Tierney (Owen) Blythe, Stefanie (Steve) Yeoman, and great-grandmother of 15. Predeceased by her siblings Mae (Aylmer) Baverstock, George (Mary) Stocking, Dorothea (Albert) Goovaerts. Dear sister-in-law to the late Alfred (Madeleine) DeBruyne, Fred (Dianne) DeBruyne, Yvonne (Ed) Marcus, Mauritz (Rachel) DeBruyne. Forever missed by her life long special friend, Barbara Lewis, numerous nieces, nephews, and the extended Elliott family. The DeBruyne-Elliott family will receive friends and relatives at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place in the chapel on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul Van Kesteren. Interment to follow at Bothwell Cemetery. Those wishing to leave an expression of sympathy are asked to consider by cheque the Four Counties Health Services.
