Obituary of Larry Halaska
Halaska: Larry, formerly of Tupperville, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Wallaceburg on Monday, December 9, 2019 at the age of 76. Born in Chatham, son of the late George and Katherine (Polowick) Halaska. Larry had retired from Benn Iron Foundry in Wallaceburg. He is survived by his children Larry Halaska Jr. (Nicole), Shane Halaska (Inez), and Cimmeron Halaska (Dodi); grandchildren Adam, Marie Sol, Arianna, Cassidy, Brooke, and Laine; sisters Mary Eberle (Pete), Sara Halaska, Elaine Snoddon (Alex), Jeannette Halaska (Jay), Shirley Halaska, and a brother Leonard Halaska (Eileen Hare). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Richie Halaska (1988). The Halaska family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Mayhew-Mt.Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. If desired, donations to PAWR or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
