Dear Jim & Marlene, Joy and families
Jane was a very special lady. I remember going into her store with Mom and later picked things up to try on Mom and return whatever didn't work! She was so trusting, never did I pay for anything until Mom decided it was workable. One day I said, are you sure, I shouldn't pay for this and return whatever and her response was, "you are in Dresden, where we know one another. I know your Mom & Dad and I have no fear of not being paid. Go and have a nice day" Sweet lady!

We enjoyed are many visits with Jane throughout the years as our lawn customer and especially our friend. Jane always showed great pride in her gardens, her canning, sharing of family stories, involvement in Church activities. Jane was one of the first friends my mother Kay made at Riverview Gardens. Such a kind and wonderful person. I’m going to miss that smile and little gleam in her eye. She felt like a member of my family. Rest easy Jane. You will be missed.

My mother has long passed away but how she loved shopping as well as other members of our family at the Dresden Store. Janie was an exceptional person with gifts, talents and personality needed to run the store.
