Thomson: Blanche “Tiny”, a long time resident of Bothwell, passed away peacefully at Beattie Haven, Wardsville on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the age of 98. Born in Forest, Ontario daughter of the late James and Ethel (Wills) Tunks. Beloved wife of the late Albert “Abbey” Thomson (1989). Tiny is survived by her loving sisters, Dorothy Pringle of Newbury, Marion Wright of Rodney, Pat Stocking of Kincardine. Also survived by a sister-in-law Elizabeth Tunks and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Donna VanAcker; brothers Harold, Cecil, and George Tunks; and sisters and brothers-in-law Ethel, Dorothy, Glen, Earl, and Ken. At Blanche’s request a private family service and interment was held. If desired donations to the Four Counties Health Services Foundation or Beattie Haven Retirement Home, Wardsville would be appreciated by the family.
