Obituary of Joan Doreen Pray
Joan Doreen Pray, a resident of Dresden, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus at the age of 86. Born in Dawn Township, the daughter of the late Franklin and Olive (Gibson) Coneybeare. Beloved wife of the late Donald Pray (2014). Joan was a talented seamstress and spent a lot of time at the arena cheering on her family and was known as Sidney Crosby's #1 fan. She loved children and babysat for many local Dresden families. The Pray's spent a lot of time camping with their friends from Libby's.
Loving mom of Heather Bedell (the late John Tew 2020), Alan Pray (Patti) and Gregory Pray (Kim). Cherished Nan of Kimberley Depencier (Dave), Jason Bedell, Tricia Pray, Spencer Pray, Rebecca Thatcher (John) and Rachel Walters (Chris). Loved Nanny of Brynn Depencier, Beau Depencier and Arley Thatcher. Dear sister-in-law of Gord Brooksbank, Delores Pray, Marion Phair and Norma Lawson (Tom). Joan was the last surviving member of her family. She is predeceased by sisters Willa Shaw (Wallace), Donna Webster (Delbert), Patricia Brooksbank and brother Jack Coneybeare. Joan will be missed by a special fur baby "Kane".

A private family service will be held at Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre with interment in Dresden Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Dresden Community Church in her memory.
