Obituary of Flora Irene Scott

Flora Irene Scott, a resident of Dresden passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the age of 82. Born in Florence, daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Davis) Yontz. Predeceased by her husband, Fred Scott. Irene is survived by three daughters: Dorothy, Diane and Cynthia Scott. Irene loved people and very much enjoyed Friday morning coffees and many outings over the years with her dear friends. She had an appreciative heart and her smile could light a room. Her daughters would like to thank Dr. Yee-Providence and the extraordinary staff, nurses and PSWs from LHIN, VON and Bayshore Services who assisted with in-home care. Their experience and compassion truly made her final days comfortable and peace filled. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Irene are asked to consider Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.
