Obituary of Camilla Legein

Legein: Camilla (Mittenaere), a resident of Thamesville, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the age of 81. Born in Dampremy, Belgium daughter of the late Arthur and Emmerance (Leavens) Mittenaere. Beloved wife of the late Charles Legein (1984). Loving mother of Linda and John Smith of Thamesville, Henry and Doris Legein of Blenheim. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Maria (Shawn), Janet (Dave), David, Ronald, and Barbara (Tim) and great-grandchildren Brandon, Trevor, Timothy, Patricia, Ashley, Brady, Hunter, and Charissa. Predeceased by her sisters Marie, Madeline, and brothers Guillaume, and Rene. The Legein family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Prayers will be held on Friday afternoon at 3:45pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Thamesville on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 2:00pm with Fr. John Johnson as Celebrant. Interment St. Paul's Cemetery, Thamesville. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Arthritis Society, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of one's choice.
