Obituary of Helen Elizabeth Dickson
Helen Elizabeth Dickson, formerly of Chatham, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Fairfield Park Nursing Home, Wallaceburg at the age of 97. Born in Camden Township, the daughter of the late Edward and Susie (Smyth) Morgan. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Dickson (1984) Loving mother of Marian & Ken Wilcox, the late infant Murray and Dianne & Paul Doyle. Cherished grandma of Sandra, Jason, Joseph, Stacey, Gary and Shaun. Proud grandma of 12 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Mary Morgan, Frances & Blake Sheets and the late George Morgan (Mary Ann). Predeceased by sister-in-law Verna Feargue. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Helen was a member of the Sprucedale United Church where she was very involved in the UCW. She loved to travel and to spend time quilting at the church. The Dickson family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Monday, July 26, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 PM and Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, those wishing to attend the visitation must sign up for a scheduled time at https://signup.com/go/WqnOODw. No one will be permitted without a scheduled time. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated that everyone attending must wear a mask. A private family funeral service will be held. Interment in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
