Garry was a butcher at the Thamesville Red & White for many years, was a Thamesville councilman and retired from Eaton Yale in Chatham. He really loved his annual trips to Melbourne, Florida and spending time with his snowbird friends. Family came first to Garry, who was very proud of his children and grandchildren. He was always spotted in the stands at many sporting events cheering his family on to achieve their best. Born in Toronto, beloved son of Gladys Sproule (late Mike) of Thamesville. Devoted wife Karen Sproule for just shy of 60 years (January 13th, 1962), loving father of Scott and Patty Sproule of Thamesville, Kim and Brent Daugherty of Dresden. Cherished nephew of Edith Manning (late Carl) of Mitchell's Bay, predeceased by Lillian and Jeff Miller (Carl Johnston) and Vera and Roy Seymour. Garry will also be sadly missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews. At the family's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service, cremation has taken place.
