Obituary of Lillian Sophia Noah
Noah: Lillian (Stonefish), a residential school survivor of the Mohawk Institute "mushole" for 12 years and a member of the Delaware Nation. She passed away peacefully at her home in Moraviantown on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the age of 82. Born in Moraviantown, daughter of the late Vernon and Stella (Noah) Stonefish. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Noah Sr. (2017). Lillian is survived by her children Angela McCall, Lynette Chaplin, Stanley "Lorne" Noah Jr. (Julie), Rebecca Noah-Fisher, and Velma Noah; grandchildren Justin, Shawnee, Stan Noah III, Nicholas, Celeste, Tawny, Curtis (Shelby), Trenton, Jalen, Brooke, Eeshulaandeew, Marques, Frank Jr.; great-grandchildren Wchaphik, Mbiisus, Miken, Navaya, Awehleew, (the late) Cedar, Sookulaan, Turner and Topaz; brothers William, Jimmy; a sister Pauline; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Verna, Fred, Gracie, and Marie. Family and friends are invited to visit the family at Lillian's home 22261 Lunaapeew Road, Moraviantown on Friday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM and Saturday from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Interment will be held at Moraviantown Cemetery on Sunday December 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Arrangements entrusted to the John C. Badder Funeral Home, Thamesville.
