Obituary of Marg Wilson

Margaret Ann "Marg" Wilson, a resident of Dresden, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at her home at the age of 88. Born in Camden Township, Mom was the daughter of the late Walter and Lyla (Warren) McFadden. Beloved wife of the late Doug Wilson.Cherished Mom of Patty Wilson (Gary Moyse) and the late Steve Wilson (March 7/2020). Also survived by her most loved grandchildren Colin Burton (Siobhan), Darren Burton and Shelby Wilson. Great Grandma of Brennan and Liam Sorge and Morgan Burton. 

To say Mom was a force is an understatement. At the age of 69 she found herself alone when Dad suddenly passed away in 2003. Mom’s determination and drive allowed her to live in her own home after his passing. She was strong, willful and forthright. Mom lived life on her own terms and passed away on her own terms.

She loved to play the piano, entertain and was a wonderful cook who loved a great joke...and a Manhattan. She is now finally at peace, having been reunited with Dad and her son Steve. 

At Mom's request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place with interment in Dresden Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations may be made to CMHA-Chatham Head Office or the Breast Cancer Society of Canada, Sarnia.
