Mildred Helen Konecny, a resident of R.R. 2 Tupperville, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 87. Born in Chatham, the daughter of the late Bartholmew and Anna (Holek) Veverka. Beloved wife of the late Francis Konecny (1980). Loving mom of Carol Shaw (Claire), Lynda McFadden (Don) and William "Bill" Konecny (Brenda). Cherished Grandma K to Jason McFadden, Kyle McFadden, Jeffrey Shaw (Terri), Sarah Fletcher (Andy), Amanda Shaw (Lauren), Brian Shaw (Genevieve), Ryan Konecny (Brenda), Mark Konecny and Trevor Konecny (Hailey). Loved Great Grandma K to Jake Shaw, Avery Shaw, Drew Shaw, Hayley Shaw, Claira Fletcher, Max Fletcher, Cruz Shaw, Saylor Shaw, Harrison Shaw, Jasmine Konecny, Colton Konecny, Tennyson Konecny, Cutler Konecny and Harbour Konecny. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers and sister Louis Veverka, Annie Buxton and John Veverka. The Konecny family will receive family and friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St, Dresden on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at funeral home on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 10:30 AM. Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
