Jimmy will be truly missed by the family and the town. We saw him daily walking the dog. He was always so helpful when he worked at the grocery store. We will treasure the many wonderful memories.

It was quite a shock to see this obituary, Jimmy was one of the icon's of Bothwell. Always visible in some part of Bothwell with a genuine smile for everyone! I remember him as the grocery employee who was always helpful and going above and beyond in his role. A very kind spirit, he will be missed. Sending love and kindness to his family.

My condolences to all the Kelly family, Jimmy was a true friend, anytime I seen Jimmy we always had a good chin wag, never forget the times we'd play ball hockey under the street light in front of his house as kids, or over at the beer store parking lot, we played on the same hockey team Men's house league on Sunday nights, Jimmy just loved playing goalie, he may not have been the best goalie but we always praised him up as if he was win or lose, another time as kids we'd be playing eight ball on his pool table in the back room of the other house listing to Dean Martin singing the song Blue Blue Blue Christmas, I'll not ever forget that, oh we had some good times and laughs, Jimmy you where truly a good friend & buddy, you will be truly missed..........................

He was a great friend for thr better part of my life although we havent seen each other alot in the last few years our quick visits and hugs were the greatest. I will miss him dearly and will always cherish our many memories. My heart goes out to all of his family. Heaven has gained a fantastic guy
