Obituary of Allen Joseph Yacks

Yacks: Allen Joseph passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury at the age of 81. Born in Chatham Township, the son of the late William and Delina (Matte) Yacks. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn (Hill) Yacks (2015) and companion of Sylvia Weaver. Loving dad of the late Annette Williams (the late Tom Griffith and Dave), Greg Yacks (Diahn) and Sheila Hamilton (Bill). Proud grandpa of Jessica, Brandon, Kristyn, Derek, Lindsay (Jeremy) and Dakota. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Miami Fader, Winnie Cadotte (Roger), Carol Yacks and Bonnie Barnes (Red). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by the Weaver Family. Predeceased by sisters and brothers-in-law Sally Yacks (infant), Alice Alexander (Henry), Jean Alexander (Victor), Gladys Lozon (Gerald), Verna Chalcraft (Richard), John Fader. Brothers and sisters-in-law George (Laura), Cecil (Mabel), Theodore (Gloria), Stan (Joyce), Bill (Clara), Morris (Christine), Harvey (Margaret) Victor and Russell Yacks. The Yacks family will receive family and friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre on Thursday from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 11 a.m. Interment in Dresden Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
