Roose: Daniel a resident of Newbury, passed away peacefully at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Friday, August 12, 2011 at the age of 79. Born in Amherstburg, ON., son of the late Maurice and Flavia (Vanacker) Roose. Beloved husband of Janet (Staels) Roose. Loving father of Daniel Roose Jr. (Paula) of Glencoe, Wendy Johnston (Steve) of Clachan, Dwayne Roose (Jen) of Thamesville, Darren Roose (Annette) of Newbury. Loving grandpa and great-grandpa of Adam (Kim) and their children Gavin and Colton, Wesley, Daniel, Nicholas, Paige, McKinley, Riley, Greg, and Justin. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Rachel Trudell of Thamesville, Andy Roose (Elizabeth) of Chatham, Jean Roose of Port Bruce and Fred Staels of R.R.# 3 Newbury. Predeceased by a sister Agnes Roose, a brother Robert Roose, brothers-in-law Bob Trudell, Joe Staels and sisters-in-law Jeanette and Lillian Staels. The Roose family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 from 11:00am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm. Interment St. Ignatius Cemetery, Bothwell. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to Four Counties Health Services Foundation.
