Obituary of Dorothy M. Vogt

Vogt, Dorothy M. a resident of Sarnia, passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Monday, October 10, 2022 at the age of 89. Born in Cairo, daughter of the late Henry and Mildred Vogt. Dear sister to Margaret Vogt-Elliott (late Robert), the late Rosa Vogt and Stuart Vogt. Forever remembered by nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a well loved teacher. She started her career in a one room schoolhouse at Zone Centre and ended her career on Confederation Road, Sarnia. Dorothy remained friends with some of her former students. She was a valued member of the Bothwell United Church where she read scripture and told stories for Bless the Animals Sunday. She will be greatly missed by all her friends. A gracious lady with many talents. 

The Vogt family will receive friends and relatives at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 12:30 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow with Interment of ashes at Bothwell Cemetery.
