Beautiful Deb, you’re with us in spirits, and will forever be in our memories.
My deepest condolences to Kevin, Deb’s family and loved ones. May you find strength, softness, love and support in these hard times.
I had the privilege of working with Deb over the past 2 years. When it comes to Deb, the thing that stood out for me the most is her smile. Deb was always smiling. No matter what was going on Deb always smiled and extended her hand to help others. She’s an amazing human being, a beautiful woman and a loving soul.
So much love to you Deb ❤️

My deepest condolences to Kevin, Deb's family and loved ones. I had the honour and privilege of working closely with Deb over the last couple of years. She had such a passion for her work and team that was like no other. I will miss our one on ones where she would open with the warmest "How are you?" that felt like a big hug even virtually from across the country. She was such an amazing, genuine person and I have missed her and will continue to miss her dearly. I take solace in knowing her legacy will live on with each one of us.
With loving thoughts and prayers, Mel

To Kevin and the entire Lesperance and Stevens families,
As a coworkers of Deb's these past 4 years, I have known her both professionally and as a close friend. Never did a meeting with her pass without us both belly laughing or sharing some ridiculous story. Deb was a joy to have in my life and I am grateful for the time we shared together.
One memory that sticks out to me was during a cooking class we took together as a company. At the end, the instructor divided us into teams and made us complete to make stuffed ravioli from scratch with little instructions. Every team was freaking out since that had no idea what to do, except for Deb's team. She instantly went into "I got this!" mode and started instructing everyone on how to make it happen, even helping out other teams when they got lost. With a glass of wine in her hand, she rocked the competition - just like she always did.
Thanks Deb for the great memories. It was a joy to hug your family at the visition and funeral on Wednesday. The team at Starling is looking forward to spending time celebrating your life in ways that you would be proud of. Miss ya. Love ya <3

To Stevens and Lesperance Families
I was the person that found Debra in her car on Friday at Reaume Park Oct.21 at 11:30am. I CALLED 911
My Deepest Condolences and Prayers go out to You and all of your families.
God had his arms around Debra and it was a beautiful day the sun was shinning on her. She was warm and was at peace just like she was taking a nap. There was no pain or sorrow just calmness. The paramedics Worked really hard trying to get her back and I was unsure of the outcome and I'm happy I found Debra obituary. It gives me peace knowing she's at rest. Also sadness she was so beautiful and will be missed dearly. I'm so sorry for your loss and I only wish I could of gotten there 5 or 10 minutes faster so I could of helped her more. GOD GIVE YOU ALL THE STRENGTH TO MAKE IT THROUGH THIS TRAGIC LOSS.

My deepest condolences to Kevin and all of Deb's family. I had the good luck to be able to work with Deb for the last three years and even though we worked from different parts of Canada, her joy and warmth was big enough to reach across it. When she came to visit the office, I'll never forget the look on her face when she returned from lunch one day with a custom-made white fedora, she was so happy. Her smile could lift you out of any grump you were in and her passion and dedication to her work always made me want to do more. We will miss her terribly - Anne-Marie

Dear Betty, Sandra, Chris, Lucas, Cameron and sweet Brooklyn.
Deb is true-blue! As a friend, a community supporter with her giving nature to the Terry Fox Run. The best Aunt Deb anyone could ask for! Perry and I just love Deb!!! She rocked life. Just good and wholesome and wonderful person all around. No one can ever have too many Debs in their lives. We are numb with grief. A total loss for words. Please know that our hearts ache for you. With the most deepest of sympathies love always Perry & Deb Furlan and families.

Dear Kevin, Emma, Ryley, Jenna, Donald, Ameila and Silas
I met Deb through the late Tara Vitek-Ciarma. Tara and Deb were lifetime friends and their friendship absolutely precious to witness. We were driving one day and reminiscing and I remember her meeting you Kevin and how happy she was to find her true love. Gods timing is impressive and awe-striking - her union with you ....I am absolutely positive to say ....was and is one of the happiest times in her life. I have no words and can not get my head and heart around losing Deb. She is and always will be one of the golden ones in my life. Take care of yourselves in these days, weeks months ahead. Our hearts deeply deeply ache for you all. Sincerely Deb & Perry Furlan and families.

To Kevin, Deb's family, and all those who loved her, please accept my deepest condolences. I was blessed to work closely with Deb over the last 2 1/2 years and I will always remember her for her warmth, huge infectious smile and how she always put others before her self. We had so many great conversations over the last year: football (the Broncos and Seahawks), dog care and our love for pets, the passing of each of our fathers, and what we've learned about ourselves over our lives. I will always remember her and will cherish the wonderful moments we were able to share. Earl

I would like to send my deepest condolences to Kevin, Deb’s family, and her loved ones. I worked closely with Deb over the past couple of years and will always remember her for her warmth, beautiful smile, and ability to light up the room within seconds of joining a meeting. Deb was more than a manager to me, she was a great friend. We bonded over our love of houseplants (one year she even mailed me a clipping from one of her rare plants as an early Christmas gift), being bride-to-bes at the same time, and of course our love for animals. I am devastated to hear the news of Deb’s passing but will keep her in my heart forever. I am sending my love and prayers to you all during this time.

My deepest condolences to Kevin and her loved ones. Deb was such a rare and amazing human being. Just pure joy and light. It doesn’t seem real that someone like Deb had such few years, but I know she made such good use of them. I will always remember her big, infectious smile and the warmth she filled in every room. Even though she's gone, I know that Deb Stevens exists somewhere; hopefully reunited with her beloved pops and sharing a good laugh. I'll always miss you Deb! xoxo - Janet P
