Eunice was always special to my mother and to Heather and I. She was raised near my mother, they had music in common and when Heather and I began doing music in the community we constanly came into contact with Eunice and Robert. Many years of memories. My last is of Eunice and Bob selling pie at the Bothwell Car show. Always helping. Always important and vital.

I have fond memories of visiting (Great) Aunt Eunice, Uncle Bob, and the cousins with my sisters Casey and Sara when we were kids/teenagers. Her lively presence and Uncle Bob's jokes made for a warm house, and the corn and dogs set the scene. Aunt Eunice was a class act. So well organized for large gatherings. She lived by pursuing her loves: family, community, church and music. Her legacy has been passed on to her daughters who follow many of these interests and traits. I was fortunate to spend many summer visits at her home and learned from her as well. I loved listening to her laugh with my mother, her sister Phylis. Thinking of you girls and your families. You have done a great job helping your parents with aging. I am sure Aunt Eunice has her notes with her to get heaven organized for concerts and meals.

As a young teen-ager in Newbury in the late 50's, I remember Eunice with great fondness. As a musician myself, she was my idol, so glamourous and she was everything I wanted to be. I thank her for all her years of service to the local community and remember with gratitude the opportunities presented for my Mother, Alice Wilson , and sister Cathy Mahovlich to sing in the local mixed choir, something they both enjoyed very much.

Eunice was always so well organized and a joy to work with. Her family cherished her and she was proud of them all. Eunice had a kind heart and a beautiful spirit. She could arrange a successful gathering with both hands behind her back wearing while wearing a blindfold. It was a pleasure to be in her company.
